Services · follow the water

Septic services, in the order the water travels

Out of the house, into the tank, up a pump if the lot needs one, across the distribution box and into the field. We design, install, inspect, pump and repair every part of that path.

Chapter one · the whole system

Site design and septic installation

Site design. Natasha evaluates the soil, groundwater, topography and perc rate, picks the system type the lot supports (gravity, pressure distribution, mound, aerobic treatment or drip), places the tank downhill with access, lays out the drainfield and submits the design to the Yakima Health District.

Installation. Once the permit is in, our crew excavates, sets a poly or precast concrete tank by crane, lays chambers or perforated pipe in gravel trenches, backfills and compacts, and meets the health district for the final inspection.

The tank, looked after

Most septic trouble is slow and quiet before it is loud. Regular inspections and pumping are how a system stays out of the repair column.

Tank · every 1 to 3 years

Septic tank inspections

A visual check of the tank for leaks, cracks and corrosion, the inlet and outlet baffles, the distribution box, and the drain field for saturation, pooling or odour. You leave with a maintenance plan and a pumping interval that fits your system.

Pumping and cleaning

We locate and expose the buried lids, vacuum the sludge and scum out with the pump truck, and write down the date, the volume and what we saw. That record makes the next visit easier, and access risers mean the lid is easy to find.

When a part of the path fails

Pump repair and septic repairs

Pump repair and replacement

We find the pump in the tank or pump chamber, pull it, and check the electrical connections, floats and alarm. A damaged float switch or clogged impeller gets repaired. A burnt-out motor or a broken housing gets replaced. Then we seal the openings and run the pump by hand to test it.

Septic system repairs

A diagnostic inspection comes first, with a camera into the line when the problem is out of sight. Then we fix the part that failed: a leaking tank or cracked wall, damaged baffles, collapsed or blocked pipe, a distribution box that no longer splits the flow, a saturated drainfield, or roots in the line. We can add an alarm so the next problem announces itself early.

Residential and commercial

The same crew that sets a tank beside a new house in Selah also lays long rows of chambers across a large flat commercial site and services commercial pump vaults. A bigger job changes the quantities, not the order: look at the ground, draw it, get it approved, then dig. Not sure which service fits?
